Opening:
Derek Lees, Board President, called the regular meeting of the Vintage at University Place Board of Directors to order on
August 13, 2003.
Present: Derek Lees, President; Rob Greenlee, Vice President; Sandi Semler,
Secretary/Treasurer.
I. Old Business
1. Delinquent Dues
Lianna confirms the difficulty in finding mortgage lenders for our
overdue homeowners. She did confirm the payment plan of two overdue
homeowners and one who has paid in full as of the first of September.
One has had a lien put in place.
2. Incomplete Backyards
The ACC is monitoring the progress of the incomplete backyard.
3. Westgate Retention Pond
The Westgate Board did not show for the scheduled meeting with our Board
on 8-27-03. Derek has been attempting to contact them to reschedule.
Derek asked Lianna for recommendations for Storm Drainage Cleaning
Co.’s. She reports the current President of the Westgate Board should
have results taken from a study done by TruGreen Land care.
4. Storm Drains
Derek met with a cleaning company who declined to do the work on the
Westgate Retention Pond based on the caliber of work needed. The company
assessed the Vintage storm drains and confirmed they needed cleaning.
They have sent Derek a quote and we will be setting a date for cleaning
as they have not been cleaned in several years.
5. Bridgeport Trees
Derek reminded the homeowners along Bridgeport to water the trees per
their original commitment.
II. New Business
1. Entry Lights
Rob has been trying to find a replacement bulb for the burned out light.
2. New Board Nominations
Our General Membership Meeting has been scheduled for Monday, October
20, 2003 from 7-8 pm at the Walter’s home. Currently we have three
potential volunteers for the 2004 Board. We have sent out a meeting
notice with a flyer requesting volunteers to sit on the Board in case
any of the three potential volunteers rescind their agreement.
Adjournment
The next Board meeting will be on Sunday October 12, 2003 at 11 am at
the Greenlee home.
