Opening: Steve Cole, Board President, called the regular meeting of the Vintage at University Place Board of Directors to order on August 5, 2002 at the Simpson home.

I. Open Issues

1. Reviewed Budget

1. The Board discussed current budget expenditures to date and remaining balance.

2. Catch Basin

1. New board of directors for the Westgate community still in transition. Decision: will contact to set up meeting when board is set.

3. Personal Property in Common Areas

1. Draft letter to community was revised and approved; Decision: Letter will be distributed to community with Annual General Meeting agenda mailing by September 4.

II. New Business

1. Common Area Landscaping

1. Board decided to plant new Vintage entrance landscaping in early October.

2. 2003 Elections for Board of Directors and Community Committees

1. Elections set for September 13 Annual Meeting. Board decided to distribute Board and Committee duty descriptions and nomination forms to the community in late August. This is also available on the website at http://vintageup.com/election.htm

III. General Discussion

1. Annual General Meeting Preparation: Association Management will mail meeting agenda and Vintage budget financials to community by 9/4.

2. Dana reported VintageUP.com website stats for July: 505 page views/visits; 446 using Internet Explorer and 59 using Netscape; most popular page views were to the Firefighters t-shirt sales page with 134 page views.

3. Street storm drains in Vintage will be checked and cleaned in August.
