I. Old Business
1. New ACC Co-Chair
Decision: Jerry Simpson reports that Steve Cole will be ACC co-chair
with him until the end of the 2004 term, when Simpson will step down.
2. CLICK Cable
Continuing: Joel reports our contact with Click Networks will be
sending documents to sign regarding the process for cable line
installation in Vintage. Details include digging a 5” trench along one
side of all Vintage streets to lay high-speed DSL cable. Joel reports
Click will offer Internet access for approx. $25 versus close to $50
from Comcast.
Addendum as of May 20: Click is scheduled to begin road
construction in Vintage May 26 and may continue for up to two weeks.
3. Street Lights
Update on Pricing: Economy Electric quotes for bulb replacement:
$125 fro first lamp; $60 per add’l lamp. We have yellow sodium so long
life, approx. 10,000 hours. All 9 street lights burning at this time,
one occasionally flickering in front of 6917 59th Street Ct.. For
replacement, simply tie ribbon around pole and schedule Economy
Electric. Joel reported Potelco still has an active account for Vintage
from when Tom Palmer lived in community. Potelco charges $300 for one to
multiple light replacements. Tacoma Power charges approximately $300 per
light.
4. New Community Affairs Chair Volunteer
Kristine Peterson has agreed to Chair Community Affairs. She will call
to remind event coordinator/leaders prior to event dates. The Whitchers
have agreed to coordinate the annual Vintage Garage Sale set for June 5,
9am – 5pm.

Next Board Meeting
The next Board of Directors meeting will be held on May 23, 2004 at 2:00
p.m. at the Greenlee’s home.
