Opening: Derek Lees, Board President, called the regular meeting of the Vintage at University Place Board of Directors to order on December 15, 2002 at the Semler home.

Present: Derek Lees, President; Rob Greenlee, Vice President; Sandi Semler, Secretary/Treasurer; and Steve Cole, 2002 HOA President

I. Old Business

1. Transitional items

The new board signed signature cards, identified towing authorization cards, and had the library meeting room reservation named changed. Sandi will be checking with Lianna of the status of the Columbia Bank signature cards that have not been received. The Community Events Committee will update the homeowner’s list after the first of the year.

2. Backyard Landscaping

Reviewed the bid from Dan the Dirt Guy and discussed other options for more adequate drainage and cost of this. Dana will ask him for bids for three levels of work to compare cost of each. Discussed the possibility of the funds coming from the maintenance reserves.

3. Street Lighting Repair

The streetlights have been repaired/replaced and Derek will check with Tom Palmer regarding payment to Potelco for work completed, as we have not yet received a bill.

II. New Business

1. Budget

The budget was reviewed and revised. The Board approved and a copy will be sent to Lianna.

2. Scheduling Annual Meeting

We will have a meeting in February to introduce the new board members. Dick and Sandi Walters have volunteered their home for our meeting. This will also allow us to assess if increased attendance can be reached by having it in the Vintage community versus the UP Library. The agenda and date will be set at the January board meeting.
