Officer Candidate & Committee Chair Election Info

 

The following information can be modified and used to distribute to the Vintage community prior to election time in September of each year:

At our September 18, 2002 General Membership meeting, we will be electing officers and naming committees for 2002-2003. Our new leaders will begin their one-year term December 1, 2002.

Vintage is a community which we hope will be governed by all members. As you know, Vintage has a professional management firm to handle many of the details. Please consider submitting your name for elelction.

In this packet you will find information about the officer and committee chair positionsfor the homeowners' association. There are three elected positions which comprise the HOA Board - President, Vice-President, Secretary/Treasurer; one position appointed by the board - Architectural Control Committee Chair; and two volunteer positions - Community Affairs and Grounds & Maintenance Chairs. Please read over the position descriptions in the packet and let us know your interest in either a Board position or as a committee member by returning the form below or by calling any of the current officers.

Committee Duties

Architectural Control (minimum of 3 members)

·              This position is appointed by the HOA Board.

·               Manages and administers the review of building plans, specifications and other homeowner submittals.

·              In conjunction with the HOA Board, enforces the community covenants, conditions and restrictions.

Community Affairs

·               Develops and coordinates events for the Vintage community.

·               Coordinates community communication (newsletter, flyers, website)

·               Maintains and updates the community directory.

·               Meets monthly (or as needed).

Grounds & Maintenance

·               Oversees sprinkler maintenance and operation.

·               Oversees replacements and repairs of monument and street lights.

·               Oversees sidewalk maintenance.

·               Periodically reviews professional landscaper's performance.
